Short Synopsis:-
Rusty Hairpin is an emotional story of a Chinese mother and daughter from a communist family background, live through the most chaotic eras of Malaysia’s modern history. The entire story takes place in Sarawak, the biggest state in Malaysia, with arguably the most active communist movements in the country that lasted for more than 50 years before reaching the peace agreement in 1990. The story spans for 60 years witnessing the fate of these two women under with the major political events in the country which changed the course of their lives.
